Because I could not stop for Death, He kindly stopped for me; The carriage held but just ourselves And Immortality.
We slowly drove, he knew no haste, And I had put away My labour, and my leisure too, For his civility.
We passed the school where children played, Their lessons scarcely done; We passed the fields of gazing grain, We passed the setting sun.
We paused before a house that seemed A swelling of the ground; The roof was scarcely visible, The cornice but a mound.
Since then 'tis centuries; but each Feels shorter than the day I first surmised the horses' heads Were toward eternity.
I remember this poem from one of my English classes, and I've always liked it just because it's short, sweet, and to the point. I figured it seemed a good match for this picture.
This is the art prize (gifted) for He wanted me to draw Amadues doing whatever.
I actually had a bit of a hard time coming up with this picture. Because everyone knows Amadeus for his love of violins and tacos, but I wanted to do something a bit different then that. So I was trying to think of any past RPs with him where maybe he said something else important about his life, and then I remembered one where he talked about his brothers for a moment. I figured out Granite had a picture of Amadeus' brothers posted ((Rimeras and Fantago)) and the idea just sort of slowly started forming from there.
I love it cookies, it looks really great and I can definitely picture Amadeus seemingly conversing with the starts as his brothers. And you were very close, Rimeras and Fantago. BUT AWESOME STUFF COOKIES I LOVE IT!!!
I'm so glad you like it |D Since it isn't typical Amadeus stuff I was a bit nervous going down this route actually. And I've made the correction in the artist comment >w< So close...so very close. GOOD TO HEAR GRANITE 8D
Yes it is a really nice piece. I love that you decided to go for a lesser known part of Amadeus. Not to say that I don't adore all the taco and violin based gift art. Because I DOOOOOO! But this was a really neat piece and I really like it!
